Nigeria Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Set ip task on food prices

Following the need to provide affordable prices of food across the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari's administration has constituted a Presidential Task Force.
Osinbajo Sets Up Task Force To Beat Down Food Prices
The main aim of the task force is to urgently consider measures that would ensure a steady flow of produce to the market and reverse recent price increases.
The acting president Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, giving the directive at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, on Wednesday, February 1, expressed concern at some of the inflationary rates of food prices, noting that the Task Force will explore options to promote availability and affordability of food items to Nigerians.
According to him, the Task Force, which has seven days from today to report back to the Council will consider how to remove some of the cost-raising factors that come into play between the farms and the markets and therefore “bring relief to our people.”
While there have been reports of bumper harvests in parts of the country, the prices of food stuff still end up rather high, while some of the produce even end up wasted due to a number of reasons preventing effective transportation delivery to the markets.
One of the focus areas of the task force, would be to review the transportation and preservation processes, and see how government can intervene in those aspects to bring down food prices.
The Task Force, which would be meeting with the Ag. President in the discharge of its urgent assignment, will therefore draw out a practical plan and present same to the Council next week.
Members of the Task Force include:
1. Minister of agriculture and rural development, Chief Audu Ogbeh
2. Minister of finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun
3. Minister of industry, trade and development, Dr. Okey Enelamah
4. Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi
5. Minister for water resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu
6. Minister of labour and employment, Dr. Chris Ngige
7. The Offices of the Chief of Staff to the President and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Meanwhile five commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC)who were earlier nominated by Muhammadu Buhari were sworn in by Osinbajo.
The swearing in ceremony was held on Wednesday, February 1, at the Council Chamber before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House, Abuja.

But Roberto hijacked the title from and became known with his larger manhood size in 2015 after he was filmed weighing his penis to prove its authenticity. Speaking to Barcroft TV, Roberto said: “I am famous because I have the biggest p*nis in the world. I am happy with it, I know nobody has the size I have. I would like to be in the Guinness Book of Records but they don’t recognise this record.” But despite his pride, members of the medical community have urged him to at least consider a penile reduction. Doctor Jesus David Salazar Gonzalez said: “We have advised him ‘Mr Roberto, the best thing for you is that the doctors give a normal shape to your p*nis so that it doesn’t hurt you, in order to have s*xual relationships, in or

Nigeria, SARS and God. A tale of a needle and a thread. By Deejay.

My take on the ongoing #EndSars movement across major cities in Nigeria.  Which way?¿ This anomaly of a thing has been on for a while and the more the crave for a cessation to be injected into the operation of this vicious squad, the more the voices of our people are being maimed into the pit of no reprieve. It's sickening to admit that Nigeria as a large entity and a well placed nation among national bodies in Africa is undergoing this unsolicited menace that has claimed the lives of many innocent Nigerians in recent years with no probable remorse shown from the operating squad for killing indiscriminately and the lawmakers whom we invested our supports upon to lead us to the right path. To say that Nigeria is now a country where multifaceted bloody acts can be practised and go unscathed without any backlash from whatsoever is a big cause for concern. It's very simple to say that our leaders have been misguided and the ability to see through the heart of the masses is long blu
